KUD MLADOST VRANJE has been working successfully for a full ten years. We have won numerous recognitions, medals and praises. From the first day, Mladost has the task of preserving and nurturing Serbian tradition, culture and customs with its skills and knowledge, which is our task for the future as well. Such an attitude is exactly the key to success, but without work and love, that success is not complete. Over the years, we have become bigger and more numerous. Now our society has 150 members in seven age groups. KUD has participated in over twenty festivals, 13 of which are international, and it has always won awards (the best ensemble, the best choreography, the most played program or the most promising ensemble). We achieved great results in Turkey, where for two years in a row we won first places in the competition of over 15 countries, then won second place in Italy, third place in the Czech Republic, participated in the first series of the show “Plum” where our singing group came to the finals, won first place in Ohrud festival “Ohrid Sun” where we presented the games from Vranje and to the satisfaction of the audience and others we won first place or GRAND PRIX and many other awards. There are many trips that were not of a competitive nature, such as a festival in Spain, France, Hungary, Cyprus … but we have shown ourselves to be true guardians and ambassadors of our cultural heritage. The President of the Cultural and Artistic Association “Mladost” is Ana Stojković, a professor by profession and choreographer of KUD “MLADOST” Vranje, with many years of work experience in creative work, both on and off stage, a great fighter for the preservation of folk traditions and folk heritage, original folk songs and enthusiasts in terms of promoting Serbian folk tradition, especially among young generations, both in the country and abroad – the diaspora.
